Makerere/UVRI Infection and Immunity Research Training Programme is pleased to announce their upcoming Short Course in Immunology.

Immunology in the Tropics Uganda, 2012

An intensive two week modular course designed for graduates and laboratory researchers.


Evolution of the Immune System, 5-7 March.
Malaria Immunology, 8-12 March.
Helminth Immunology, 14-16 March.

 

The course offers up-to-date lectures, discussion of research papers, cutting edge research talks by international experts, talks on the latest technological developments and advances, as well  as practical sessions covering Immunological techniques.

Uno de nuestros temas de predilección, la infección con virus de hepatitis C, sigue mostrando importancia en el mundo clínico, recientemente se publicó en España que La mitad de españoles con VIH tiene también hepatitis C y la coinfección incrementa la mortalidad un 14,2%.
